With the aim of establishing a new regional office in Manchester, seeking a talented Recruitment Branch Manager who specializes in trades and labour and who will be motivated by the prospect of being accountable directly to the Groups Senior Management Team . THE OPPORTUNITY
Establish and lead the new regional office in Manchester, overseeing all recruitment operations related to trades and labour.
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the trades and labour industry, ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing effective staffing solutions.
Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to ensure the selection of highly skilled tradespeople and labourers.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and onboarding.
Shared responsibility for the Branch financials of and management reporting. Liaising with the business finance department to ensure that the financial performance of the Branch is always understood and communicated to the relevant parties.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to make informed business decisions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the senior management team to develop and implement business development strategies, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Ensure legal compliance working with our in house team and all regulatory bodies.
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience as a Recruitment Manager or similar role, preferably with expertise in the trades and labour sector.
Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing a recruitment office or division.
Ability to get the best out of a team working in a challenging environment by drawing on your management skills and experience.
In-depth knowledge of the trades and labour industry, including an understanding of various roles, skill sets, and market demands.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence clients, candidates, and stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Proficient in utilizing recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and online platforms for candidate sourcing and management.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A self-motivated and result-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
