We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Recruiter to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting qualified candidates to fill various positions within our construction company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company continues to hire top talent in the construction industry. The ideal candidate for this role possesses excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and a proven track record in talent acquisition.


Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent for construction-related roles, including but not limited to project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and skilled tradespeople.

Job Posting and Advertising: Create compelling job postings and advertisements that effectively promote open positions across multiple channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, industry-specific websites, and professional networks.

Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for specific construction roles within the organization.

Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough reference checks and background screenings to validate candidates' credentials, qualifications, and professional experience.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, construction associations, trade schools, and other relevant organizations to expand the talent network and generate referrals.

Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to enhance the company's employer brand within the construction industry, ensuring a positive reputation that attracts top talent.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other recruitment databases, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.


Proven experience as a Construction Recruiter or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.

Deep understanding of construction roles, qualifications, and industry-specific skills.

Excellent knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment methods, and interview techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.


Basic salary up to £40,000

Commission scheme with no threshold

Additional sales incentives and bonuses on top of the commission;
