The Company

This company is one of the market leaders in Plant hire. They are looking for someone to join the business as Internal Recruitment Consultant. This role would be perfect for someone who covers construction or Industrial recruitment.

The Role

  • Provide a proactive and effective resourcing solution to the business and be responsible for recruitment processes from conception to fulfillment.

  • Identify candidates by utilising multiple strategies including: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking events and recruitment fairs.

  • Conduct briefings with hiring managers and key stakeholders to fully understand recruitment needs and advise on resourcing strategy.

  • Organise and oversee recruitment and selection processes, including reviewing applications, screening calls where applicable, providing hiring managers with shortlist of candidates and coordinating interview arrangements.

  • Take steps to ensure a consistently positive candidate experience.

  • Develop talent pool/pipeline and build up candidate database to support future recruitment activity.

  • Booking inductions, medicals and assessments and managing the calendar.

  • Site visits

  • High volume call handling

  • Relationship building with clients and candidates

The Benefits

The Candidate

  • Construction, Industrial or Engineering (Blue Collar) recruitment experience

  • You will be career minded with a desire to personally grow and build

  • Attitude is the most essential criteria, a team player, hardworking and business focused.

  • Strong LinkedIn searches

  • Focused and motivated to succeed

  • Ability to match candidates to job specifications

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Full UK driving license is essential
